/ Free test edit · 48-hour turnaround

Don'ttrustthereel.Trustyourownfootage.

Every studio's showreel looks good — it's built from their best week with someone else's footage. So skip it. Send us one raw file, and we'll cut 60 seconds of it the way we'd cut everything you publish. Free, in 48 hours, no card and no call first.

/ How it runs

Four steps, two days, nothing signed

01

Send one raw file

A WeTransfer link, a Drive folder, a Dropbox share — whatever you already use. One file is enough. Tell us the channel or the campaign it's for so the editor knows the audience.

02

We cut 60 seconds

A senior editor — not a trial junior — picks the strongest minute and cuts it properly: hook, pacing, sound design, captions, grade. The same pass a paying client gets, just shorter.

03

You get it in 48 hours

Delivered as a downloadable master plus a short note on what we changed and why. Keep the file whether you hire us or not — it's yours.

04

Decide with something real

If the cut earns it, we start a plan the same week. If it doesn't, tell us and that's the end of it. No follow-up sequence, no discount ladder.

/ The terms, in full

The whole offer fits in six lines

There's no fine print underneath this table. If something isn't listed here, it isn't part of the deal.

CostNothing. No card, no deposit, no trial that auto-bills.
LengthUp to 60 seconds of finished cut from your raw footage.
Turnaround48 hours from the moment your files land.
RevisionsOne round. We're proving fit, not delivering a project.
RightsYou own the file outright. We only use it as a sample if you say yes in writing.
LimitOne test edit per company. It's a sample, not a free tier.
/ Why we give it away

Because the alternative is worse for both of us. A discovery call sells you on how we talk. A showreel sells you on footage a different crew shot in better light. Neither tells you whether your Tuesday afternoon podcast block, shot on one camera with a room echo, comes back looking like something worth posting.

A test edit answers that in 48 hours. It also filters out the projects we'd be wrong for — if your footage needs a genre we don't cut well, we'd rather find that out now than three invoices in. Roughly a third of the tests we send back don't turn into clients, and that's the offer working, not failing.

/ Questions we get

Before you send anything

Is the free test edit really free?
Yes. No card, no deposit, no auto-billing trial. We cut up to 60 seconds from your raw footage and send it back in 48 hours whether or not you go on to hire us.
What footage should I send for a test edit?
Send something typical, not your best day. A normal talking-head take, a normal listing walkthrough, a normal podcast block. The point is to show what we'd do with the footage you actually shoot every week.
How long does the free test edit take?
48 hours from the moment the files finish uploading. If your raws are heavy and the transfer takes a day, the clock starts when we can open them.
Who owns the test edit file?
You do, immediately and unconditionally. We only ever show it as a portfolio sample if you give written permission first.
What happens if I don't like it?
You tell us, and it ends there. No follow-up sequence, no discount offer, no second pitch. Keep the file.
/ Ready when you are

Send the link today and you'll have the cut by Friday. Nothing to cancel if you don't like it.
