01Who we are

cutraw is a remote video post-production studio working with creators, brands and agencies worldwide. When this policy says “we”, it means cutraw as the party responsible for the data described below.

For any privacy question, or to exercise a request described further down, use the contact page — that reaches the same inbox as our privacy requests.

02What we collect

We collect only what we need to reply to you and to deliver an edit.

  • Contact details you type into a form: name, email, and anything you write in the message field.
  • Project details you send us: brief, brand guidelines, deadlines and preferences.
  • Source footage, audio and assets you upload or share for the purpose of editing.
  • Basic analytics: pages viewed, approximate region, device type and referrer, collected via Google Analytics.

03Why we use it

Enquiry data is used to answer you and to scope the work. Project data is used to produce, revise and deliver your edit. Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand which pages are useful and which are not.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use client footage to train machine-learning models.

04Showing work publicly

We only publish a client's footage, logo or results in our portfolio, case studies or social channels with that client's permission. If you'd prefer your work stays private, tell us at any point — before, during or after the project — and we'll remove it.

05Who else processes it

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the studio. Each only receives the data needed for its function:

  • Hosting and backend infrastructure for this website and its enquiry records.
  • Google Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement.
  • File transfer and cloud storage services used to receive your footage and return deliverables.
  • Email and messaging providers, including WhatsApp when you choose to contact us that way.

06How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become projects are kept for up to 12 months so we have context if you come back, then deleted. Project files are kept for the duration of the engagement plus a 90-day grace period so you can request a re-export, after which source footage is removed from our working storage on request or on schedule.

Invoicing records are retained for as long as applicable accounting rules require.

07Your choices and requests

You can ask us to send you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. Send the request from the email address on file so we can match it to your records; we aim to respond within 30 days.

You can also disable analytics cookies at the browser level — see our cookie policy for detail.

08Security

Access to client files is limited to the editors and producers assigned to your project. The site is served over HTTPS, admin areas require authentication, and stored records are protected by row-level access rules in our backend.

No system is perfectly secure, and we make no absolute guarantee against breach. If an incident affects your data, we will tell you what happened and what we're doing about it.

09Children

Our services are aimed at businesses and creators. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

10Changes to this policy

When this policy changes materially we update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised version.
